Fansipan itself is an attraction of Sapa area as well as Northern Vietnam. The peak is a part of Hoang Lien mountain range, which is under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. The trip offers you an opportunity to explore the beautiful nature and challenge yourself.
The trek begins at 9:00 am when we meet with tour guide and driver. We then get on car to move for 15 km to the starting point of Fansipan Mountain climbing. We start climbing at Park Ranger’s Station at the height of 2000m. on the way, we shall have chance to learn about cardamom – a commonly grown plants here and its usage to the locals. Depending on the time you visit this place, you can see various kinds of birds through this trek. Break lunch and a short rest take place when we reach the height of around 2.200m. Continuing to walk then, we will be witnessing the amazing views after trekking for around 800 m more. We then find a ground to set up camp and having dinner cooked on campfire. After a hard day of trekking, you’ll certainly have a good sleep that night between the pristine beauty of mountains.
Please Note: Sapa is known to be an area consisting of four seasons in one day, therefore the weather can change quite rapidly, altering from heavy mist and fog to warm sunny days. Hence, we cannot guarantee clear views from the top of this mountain
Get up early in the next morning, at around 6:00 am, we have breakfast together before beginning the final day to conquer the peak of Fansipan. Keep trekking for some hours, our victory could be celebrated at around 10:00 am to 10:30 am on the top of the mountain, which is 3143 m from sea level. It’s time for us to enjoy the fresh air and admire the amazing views from the mountain peak. We can also see the overview of Sapa – the romantic town hidden in thick white fog and green forests. After that, we move downhill to the height of 2.800 m to have lunch and relax in our camp at around 1:30 pm. the next destination on the way down is Tram Ton Pass at the height of 2000 m where the driver are waiting to take us back to Sapa. The tour finishes when you arrive at Sapa, relaxing with some herbal baths or foot massage.
